It doesn’t matter if you’re married, living together, single, gay or straight – Relationships are often difficult. Building a healthy relationship takes work; it requires a strong foundation, a variety of skills you might not have, and will always need proper care and maintenance. I will not pretend to know everything about your relationship or experiences, I can say that I will work with you and your relationship, without judging or presuming things about you. I will bring to your service my own experience working with relationships, combined with the knowledge and skills of the two most highly recognized methods of couples therapy available.
Lots of people have an idea of what relationship counseling is and think that one only needs counseling when things get really bad. In truth we’re here whenever you need us, no matter what situation you face in your relationship. Even if your problems seem trivial, you would not be looking at this page if it was trivial to you, we can help.
- Considering getting married, or perhaps not in agreement on the subject?
- Are you and your partner finding that you are not as connected as you once were?
- Are you finding that sex is not as fulfilling or that you have lost the intimate connection you desire?
People are often surprised when we start working together – they expect me to tell them what to do, but it’s not like that. It really depends what you want to get out of it, if you come in with the honest desire for a stronger relationship it’s rare that you will leave without feeling a positive change. It can take courage to come to couples counseling, but for almost everyone I have worked with, it’s one of the best moves they’ve made.
